Social Catalyst

The Catalyst Method

Most AI content is filler. Ours has a floor.

Social Catalyst runs on the pipeline we built writing LinkedIn for B2B founders by hand: months of prompt tuning, structured outputs instead of prose, and a quality test every post has to pass before you ever see it.

Six stages, one brand brain

Each stage writes structured output the next stage reads. No prose parsed back into data, no step silently dropped.

  1. 1

    Read

Your site, your last LinkedIn posts and your 10-minute interview become one strategy pack.

  2. 2

    Position

An ICP document: who buys, what they already believe, what would make them stop scrolling.

  3. 3

    Theme

30 themes across five types. Each has to be a position someone credible would argue with, not a category heading.

  4. 4

    Idea

Specific ideas under each theme, tied to your proof and your buyer's objections.

  5. 5

    Write

Posts in seven shapes, drafted, critiqued and rewritten in four stages.

  6. 6

    Learn

Every approve, edit and skip tunes the next batch to your taste.

Seven shapes of post

Every post is written in one of seven shapes, each with its own rules, and mixed across the month so your feed never repeats itself.

The Narrator

A story with a turn in it.

The Puncher

One line that rearranges a belief.

The Teacher

A playbook the reader can use today.

The Thinker

A position, argued properly.

The Proof

A result, and exactly how it happened.

The Learner

What you got wrong, and what changed.

The Infographic

One idea, drawn.

The quality floor

A post can follow every rule and still be filler.

So under all seven shapes sits one test that doesn't care about format. A post that fails it is rewritten before you see it.

  • 1The claim has to be one your reader hasn't already accepted.
  • 2It has to be ownable by you specifically, not any founder in your category.
  • 3Phrases that mark a post as generic on sight are banned outright.
  • 4Rhythm varies. Uniform sentences are the clearest tell of machine writing.
